Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Ellis is an American actress and producer. She is active in films theater and on television. She started her career as an actress in theatre before going on to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she made her debut as Ariel on the stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Apart from the Broadway production Come and Gone, she has also been featured in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her work in Men of Honor, the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. On television her regular role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her praises.
