Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus after both fighters fought a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended the streak of winning. After a short break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
