Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its last four seasons. The show featured her debut releases as country music which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. Over the past decade, she appeared in Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV shows. She also released a few singles that were not albums. It was released in 2021 as The self-doubting Voices. The girl was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was a country music fanatic growing up. music and would eventually be pursuing a recording career. However, she started her career acting as an actress, making her onscreen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. Over the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights' second season (2007-2008). Kramer was later cast to play Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 through in 2012. She was signed a contract to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up during the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The song was later featured as a track on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. In the following years Kramer focused her acting career on film and music. She starred in several films including Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. In October 2015, Kramer dropped her debut album Thirty One by Warner Music Nashville. The album was helped by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her appearance on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th-place finishing. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
